Description:Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will work with business units to map, review, and recommend Client System and/or NetDirector automation. The BSA understands the end goal is to promote efficient workflows to be performed in a way that leverages internal subject matter expertise, as well as ensure that any work better suited to be performed by lower cost resources is right-sourced via the appropriate automation. The BSA will act as a bridge between the Technology software development team and the business units.


REQUIREMENTS:

 

BS/BA degree

At least 2 years work experience in business process analysis, process improvement, or project management role.

SQL experience a plus. Excel report writing or Logi Adhoc report writing experience a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Successfully engage in multiple initiatives on tight deadlines simultaneously with the ability to understand and balance competing requirements.

Organized and adaptable to changing/evolving environment.

Understanding of the Mortgage Servicing or Real Estate Title industry a plus.

 

PRE-REQUISITE:

 

All applicants will be required to complete a business analysis exercise and submit a written technical specification document prior to the interview process.

Duties:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•· Gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, hands on training, business process descriptions and workflow analysis.

•· Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, outline conflicts, translate high-level information into details and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs while respecting all opinions and suggestions.

•· Proactively communicate and collaborate with (external and internal) customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Business Requirements Document, and as necessary Use Cases, GUI, Screen and interface designs. Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.

•· Work independently with users to define concepts; challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans

•· Strong analytical skills are required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

•· Collaborate with software developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

•· Develop a good working relationship with client system and/or NetDirector vendors, attend customer focus group meetings, client system trainings, etc. Ability to coordinate/facilitate client and/or vendor relationships, meetings, and/or presentations

•· Subject Matter expert regarding the products and services offered by NetDirector, make recommendations for their use to enhance or resolve business unit problems or processes.

•· Develop and coordinate QA checks (via existing reporting tools) for transactions received and/or sent, and identify and report any discrepancies or issues to client.

•· Performing other technology division support functions, as required
